Muge

Chinese photographer, Muge has a remarkable set of portraits of strangers in his series Silent.

I find photography to be one of the more mysterious art forms. What makes the difference between an image like this and the garden variety crap photo is obvious and visible and yet, in many ways, completely beyond my comprehension. I suppose that's why I post a lot of photos on this blog.

As you know, I've been delving deeply into the art of photography after having flirted with it for most of my life and I can say that the difference between a picture and a piece of art is very small and the difference between a piece of art and a really good picture is infinitesimal. But it's there.

The word verification for this is "tronker." It sounds like a fun toy that involves dirt.

It's definitely there and it blows my mind.

Or maybe a biker from Tron.
