Shorpy:
Washington, D.C., circa 1918. "Old house, Third Street N.E. Built by Thomas Taylor in 1876." Thought I'd better post this before any more chunks of the glass negative (or house) fall off. National Photo Co. glass negative.
When have there ever been certain times?

I've looked at Third St. N.E. in D.C. pretty carefully on Google's satellite view and don't see a roof quite this intricate. It looks as if the whole area was raized. It's quite odd that D.C. hasn't had the street view thing done for it while Louisville has.
I doubt that that house made it past WW2. I think DC has been refaced more than once since then.
