When I was a kid, just 8 or 9 years old, my dad and I went to the National Gallery in D.C. to see an exhibition of Wyeth's work. I knew even then that it was something special.; January 16, 2009 at 8:22 PM

Wyeth's death has created quite a ripple.

I didn't realize until today that Christina was crippled and was dragging herself home. That painting always struck me, now even more.
