Samuel Beckett, Paris, 1987

This is a recording of Beckett in Paris, at the PLM hotel on boulevard St Jacques in Montparnasse, talking about the German television production of What Where. It was filmed by John Reilly for the documentary Waiting For Beckett. Apparently, he avoided being filmed or recorded, thus making this a truly rare item. I wish there was more, though I'm sure there is in Reilly's film, which has just become a part of my voluminous wish-list.
